Better Business 2010 OFFICIAL Giveaway RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Giveaway DESCRIPTION: The Better Business 2010 (“Giveaway”) will begin on January 4th, 2010 and end on January 8th, 2010 (“Giveaway Period”). This Giveaway will be conducted exclusively online.

HOW TO ENTER:
To participate in the Giveaway, participants must do the following:
  1. For a chance to win, send a tweeting #bb2010 with a link to http://www.betterbusines2010.com through the Twitter messaging platform.
  2. You can enter as many times as you want after that by tweeting business goals or advice for the new year with the #bb2010 tag.
  3. The more you tweet, the better your chances.
  4. 10 people will be chosen at random from #bb2010 Twitter entries.
  5. Each chosen individual will write a 250 word (MAX) response on how the prize will help them make their business better this year.
  • The responses will be voted on by the public on betterbusiness2010.com
  • A special guset blogger will pick 2 from the top 5 voted responses as the contests final winners.

    • ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
    1. Entrant must have an address that prize package can be mailed to.

    PRIZES:
    1. If a winner is unable to accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
    2. Two (2) winners will each be awarded a prize package which will include the following:
      1. Are My Sites Up - 1 Account
      2. PageLime - 1 Pro Account
      3. Campaign Monitor - 1 10000 email credit account
      4. Tuts+ - 1 Full Network Accounts
      5. Media Temple - 1 full year hosting packages

      7. BuySellAds - 1 $200 account + They will help the winners place them on sites that will best serve their business
      8. Flashloaded - 1 Full pro copies of 3D PhotoWall
      9. WebdesignerDepot - 1 $100 dollar gift card
      10. Istockphoto - 1 250 Credit account
    4. No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value.
    5. Prizes will be awarded only upon winner verification and final approval by PageLime, LLC. Each winner or selected entrant will be notified by Twitter, thirty (30) days after being selected (e.g., date of drawing). Each winner or selected entrant will then have thirty (30) days to respond with their information. If the winner or selected entrant is unable to be contacted within thirty (30) days after being selected (e.g. drawing date), is ineligible, fails to claim a prize or fails to return completed and executed release forms and affidavits, if applicable and as required by PageLime, LLC, or if the prize notification or prize is returned undeliverable, that prize will be forfeited and if time permits, at the discretion of the Giveaway sponsor / and or Giveaway administrator, an alternate entrant will be selected as the winner by random drawing from among the remaining entries.
    6. Winners will be instructed to email PageLime with their Name and Address to claim their prize.

    EXECUTION:
    1. During the Giveaway Period, eligible participants will be encouraged to take part in the Giveaway by tweeting. After completing the registration process, qualified entrants will be eligible for a chance to win the grand prize.
    2. The prize drawings will take place on Friday, January 8th 2010. 10 people will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received electronically.
    3. They will have till Monday the 11th to submit 250 word entries as to why they should win
    4. The 10 entry essays will be judged by internet users.
    5. 2 of the top 3 winners will be picked to win grand prizes outlined above by an external 3rd party.
    6. The grand prize winners will each be notified by a Tweeet by PageLime, LLC promotion staff.
    7. Winners will be instructed to email PageLime with their Name and Address to claim their prize.
    8. All decisions made by PageLime, LLC or any Giveaway Sponsor regarding any aspect of this Giveaway are final.

    GENERAL CONDITIONS:
    1. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with the receipt of the prize (prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged).
    2. No purchase necessary. Giveaway is void where prohibited. Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations.
    3. Employees of any of the sponsors or giveaway contributing companys cannot win.
    4. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible Giveawayants participating during the Giveaway Period.
    5. By participating in the Giveaway, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Giveaway, in any media now known or hereafter devised for advertising or promotional purposes without additional compensation, and must sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. By entering this Giveaway, each participant agrees to comply with these Official Giveaway Rules and the decisions of the PageLime, LLC and or Giveaway sponsor which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the Giveaway.
    6. PageLime, LLC retains the right to disqualify any Giveawayant if all Giveaway rules are not followed.
    7. By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that PageLime, LLC . have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize or to any portion thereof, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
    8. Any information collected by registering to enter the Giveaway shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Official Giveaway Rules.
    9. PageLime, LLC, participating sponsors and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or their representatives, agents and employees are not responsible for the inability of any Giveawayant to complete or continue an internet registration due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP) or other connections, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries, including any injury or damage to any computer arising from or relating to participation in this Promotion. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries, and may subject that entrant to disqualification. In addition, PageLime, LLC, participating sponsors and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or their representatives, agents and employees are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mutilated, illegible or incomplete Giveaway entries. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. Once submitted, entries become the property of PageLime, LLC, and will not be returned.
    10. If cost for shipping of Prize to winner is determined to be more then $60 USD, a certified check in the amount of $200 USD will be awarded in it's place. PageLime, LLC reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway at their sole discretion.
    11. If for any reason, the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, any suspected evidence of tampering or technological corruption or if any portion of the Giveaway is compromised by virus, bugs, worms or unauthorized human intervention, fraud, acts of God, strikes, terrorists acts, criminal acts of third parties, an insufficient number of qualified Giveaway entries, or any other causes beyond PageLime, LLC control which, in PageLime, LLC sole opinion, corrupts, threatens or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Giveaway, PageLime, LLC reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway at their sole discretion.
    12. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, PageLime, LLC reserve the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney's fees) from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.
